1. Frames

I have a 4x6 sized picture. What size frame do I need?

The 4x6 size! Simply match the size description of the frame with your picture size. It's common for people to try and compensate for the larger frame dimensions, but there's no need for that. Just keep it simple. 5x7 frame accepts a 5x7 photo, an 8x10 frame accepts and 8x10 photo, etc. Of course, outer frame dimensions will always be larger. For example the outer dimensions of the Whitehouse Folder 5x7 is actually 7x9 with the view-able area being 4.5x6.5.

What's the difference between a 5x7 and a 7x5 frame?

It's a way to distinguish between a vertical (portrait) and horizontal (landscape) frame. For example, for a 5x7 frame, the first number (5) is the left to right dimension of your picture, and the second number (7) is the top to bottom dimension. Because the top to bottom dimension is larger in this case, it's considered a vertical frame. The horizontal frame would be the 7x5 frame.  This normally only applies to folders since most easels are dual orientation.

2. Imprinting

How long does it take to process hot stamping orders?

Standard hot stamping takes 7-10 business days to process. Shipping time depends on your location and method of shipment.

How long does it take to process HiRez orders?

Using our HiRez Color Printing process, it normally takes 5 business days to ship. Quantities over 300 can take 7-10 business days. A proof will be emailed to you within 24 hours.  Pending your approval, the process begins and you will be informed when it ships.

Can I print my logo on any frame?

YES!* If you need to imprint a logo preserving the exact colors, we recommend using our HiRez process on one of the many folders we offer for this process. If you want a single-color imprint, more options are available using our Foil Imprinting or Embossing/Debossing methods with a custom-made die. Please review our Customization Section which will have more information on costs and timing for the various methods of imprinting.

Do you customize the entire frame?

We have a process for printing that allows complete full bleed color on the front cover, back cover, and matte of the frame. Unlike our other processes, there is a minimum quantity order of 150 and takes about 10 business days to process. Regular logo imprinting will not cover the entire frame, but please review our Full Color printing page for more information about this process.

3. Shipping

If I order something today, will you ship today?

As long as we have the item(s) in stock, we do our best to get your order out the same day.  Customized orders will have different shipping times.

Can you ship using our UPS or FedEx shipping account?

Yes.  A $10 handling fee will be applied.

If I call at 4 PM and have an urgent next day order that needs to be placed with no imprinting - is there anything that can be done?

Depending on product and quantity.  We carry a limited in-house stock that we might be able to ship out same day. In this situation, please feel free to contact us.  We can provide close alternatives to the product you need if we are out of stock.

4. Payment

Is ordering over the phone faster than ordering online?

Ordering online is faster, but feel free to call during business hours to place phone orders. With our new online store, it stores all your information (minus your credit card) on your account.

What will you do with my personal info?

We keep your personal info carefully in secure servers and for your access only. We have never sold and will never sell your personal info for any purpose. We keep your order history for your convenience and will only send you emails if pertaining to your purchase or future purchase.
